Theme :: The microwave oven.  Tappan introduced the first microwave on this day in 1955.  Blame them for the fact that you have no idea how to cook a meal for yourself, you no longer sit down for a meal with your family every night, and you constantly shove "food" like Hot Pockets, Totino's Pizza Rolls, and popcorn with poisonous "buttery" topping.
